As always, my work is deeply inspired by nature. This time, I have turned my gaze away from the bright colours that often characterise the sea and sky and experimented with something more earthy. 

This sculpture is a result of this, where I was inspired by the earth, roots and the foundation of life. It is the first sculpture of a series that I want to continue working on. 

The sculpture is made of stoneware, in a dark and coarse clay that appears unglazed to symbolise the earth. Its dark shades and elegant details are a beautiful addition to any home and match Scandinavian interior design beautifully.
